    Instructions

    1. Cream sugar with butter. Stir in egg and vanilla.
    2. Combine flour and baking soda. Stir into mixture.
    3. Stir in oats and mix-ins.
    4. Refrigerate dough for at least 30 minutes.
    5. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

    Notes

    Mix-ins can include chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, dried fruits, nuts, etc. Can substitute 1/2 c. of the oats with other grains or misuguru.
