    Instructions

    1. Soften half of the bran in boiling water for five minutes.
    2. Stir in remaining bran, honey, egg, oil, milk and lemon juice.
    3. Combine flour and baking soda; stir into the wet mixture.
    4. Fold in raisins.
    5. Fill prepared muffin tin with batter (heaping 1/4 cup batter each)
    6. Bake 15 minutes at 400 degrees.
