Chocolate Chip Cookies

    Instructions

    1. Cream butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla and egg.
    2. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir into wet ingredients.
    3. Fold in chocolate chips.
    4. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove to cooling rack immediately.

    Notes

    For crinkly/crunchy cookies, use 1/3 c. oil instead of butter and double the chocolate chips.
