Chocolate Chip Cookies

Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar. Stir in vanilla and egg.
- Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Stir into wet ingredients.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove to cooling rack immediately.
Notes
For crinkly/crunchy cookies, use 1/3 c. oil instead of butter and double the chocolate chips.
