    Instructions

    1. Whisk the flour and the baking powder. Set aside.
    2. Cream the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture until well combined.
    3. Cover and chill dough for at least 30 minutes.
    4. Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Use a medium-sized cookie scoop to form balls of dough. Roll each in cinnamon sugar. Place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.
    5. Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, until the edges are golden.
