Snickerdoodles

- Whisk the flour and the baking powder. Set aside.
- Cream the butter and sugar. Beat in the egg and vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture until well combined.
- Cover and chill dough for at least 30 minutes.
- Mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Use a medium-sized cookie scoop to form balls of dough. Roll each in cinnamon sugar. Place 2 inches apart on prepared cookie sheets.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes, until the edges are golden.
