Chocolate Thumbprint Cookies

    Instructions

    1. Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour.
    2. Roll dough by teasponfuls into balls. Place 1 inch apart on baking sheet.
    3. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees.
    4. Remove from oven. Press thumb into cookies to make indentations.
    5. Return to oven and bake 7-9 minutes more, until light brown on the edges. Remove to wire rack to cool.
    6. Melt chocolate chips with a drizzle of vegetable oil. Fill cookies.
