    Instructions

    1. Sift flour, sugar, cocoa, leavenings and salt
    2. Beat milk, oil, eggs, vanilla and lemon juice.
    3. Mix wet and dry ingredients. Slowly mix in hot water.
    4. Bake in two prepared pans for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

    Notes

    For cupcakes, use 1/4 c. batter per well and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
