White Chocolate Cranberry Tea Cookies

Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar. Add milk and vanilla and mix. Add flour and salt and mix well. Stir in chocolate and cherries.
- Roll into two logs, each about 8' long by 1 1/2' diameter. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill two hours.
- Cover logs with extra sugar. Slice into cookies 1/4' thick and bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not overbake.
Notes
Original recipe called for pecans and cranberries; other add-ins can be substituted.
