White Chocolate Cranberry Tea Cookies

    Instructions

    1. Cream butter and sugar. Add milk and vanilla and mix. Add flour and salt and mix well. Stir in chocolate and cherries.
    2. Roll into two logs, each about 8' long by 1 1/2' diameter. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill two hours.
    3. Cover logs with extra sugar. Slice into cookies 1/4' thick and bake 10-12 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not overbake.

    Notes

    Original recipe called for pecans and cranberries; other add-ins can be substituted.
