Ingredients
Instructions
- Saute the onion in oil until soft. Add the beef and brown. Drain the mixture
- Stir in the hoisin sauce, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Cover and cool in the fridge.
- Combine dry ingredients (flour through salt). Add soy milk and knead until soft and pliable.
- Form rounds of dough and fill with the chilled meat mixture. Pull sides up to wrap dumplings.
- Steam manju for 15 minutes until cooked through.
Notes
Can also used a basic yeast-based dough to make baozi.
